I think theft is pretty strong term when what I was actually trying to do was give Delta business that they weren't going to get otherwise.

In this case, I actually wanted to fly round trip SLC to BOS for a business trip. Delta's fare was $1700. Frontier had a fare of $400. No way my employer was going to spring for the extra $1300.

Delta's roundtrip fare from LAS to BOS connecting through SLC both ways was $670. Throw in a $49 cheapie one-way ticket from SLC to LAS to get me to the starting point and it brought the fare down to where I could almost justify it if I wanted to spend the whole day flying.

However, we decided to take the cheap Frontier flight so I guess I'm off on my first experience with Frontier.

Oh the joys of living in a captive hub city.
