I got the survey about a month ago (I seem to get one every year, but this one was a bit more focused on BAEC while others have been more about the in-flight experience).
In my survey response, I emphasized a growing problem with premium class award availability. I suggested that changes be made to increase the number of seats made available for upgrade awards. And I suggested that BA should consider increased award and upgrade availability for gold (and possibly silver) members, similar to the increased award availability that we get in economy.
There were several places in the survey for comments, so I entered similar comments repeatedly.
To my surprise, I got a reply back, a couple of weeks after completing the survey. It came from an automated type of e-mail address, not an actual person, but it thanked me for completing the survey, and assured me that this feedback was very important to BA, and that they did read the comments that were included in survey responses. Further it said that they were studying ways of improving award availability. (So although it appeared to be an automated e-mail, it did specifically address the concerns I raised in the survey.)
I wish I hadn't deleted the actual e-mail response ... I'm going from memory here. But I would encourage others who receive this survey to echo similar concerns.
