As a Continental elite, I have nothing but great comments on the airline. However, I doubt that it would be a good choice for many of the disgruntled Delta flyers since there is little chance of upgrading on International flights. International operational upgrades are rare, there is a 30 day window for BusinessFirst seats using miles for upgrades and these are extremely limited per flight, and many fares are not upgradable. Basically Continental views Business First as a revenue source and not a treat for frequent flyers. However, for domestic travel it's the best program IMHO by far.
