I would've tried to omit the mid-con stops in ORD, IAH and DEN and added segments on the coasts. You really don't get any more miles from stopping mid-con, they take up time, and during this time of the year can add weather delays.

Personally, I do a SAN/CLD-LAX-SFO-IAD-MHT/PVD RT for 7838 EQM, and I'm usually able to book it on united.bomb for the bonus.
