PHX-LGW and PHX-FRA seem much more likely.
Yes, I am agree with that for US wants nonstop from PHX-LGW or FRA. I think US want for longer flight from PHX-SYD and UA will not appreciate for competition from SFO & LAX-SYD. Beside they are still on codeshare on US & HP connecting to LAX or SFO. If nothing else on US to Western cities to Asia or South Pacific ocean flights.
