I am sure this does happen as I have been watching NCW availability to SFO for the past month or so and the outbound dates have opened up 30 days ahead, day by day (ie. on Nov 28th there was no availability on Dec 28th, but on Nov 29th there was availability on Dec 28th etc).
I am basing this only on watching this route, but it has worked for every day I have looked at.
Anyway, today I got tired of waiting and booked the Mrs and myself in F!
