I think this is a good idea, as it would prevent people who never fly from snatching F seats for their annual holiday to some island. Plus, it increases the value of miles, decreases the liability to BA (who may then possibly see fit to open up award availability beyond 0.3 seats per flights?). Limitness, and sometimes seemingly ridiculous, mileage earning possibilities is like printing money IMHO.

Hmmm... I think this is not a good idea. Loyalty to and revenue generated for the airline is reflected in tier points (not miles), which determines the other extra perks such as lounge access and so forth. If someone has earned the miles, why should they have to pay more than the next person? Presumably, if one implemented point #1, one could not as easily redeem in premium cabins anyway without taking advantage of proper mileage earning through stepping onto an aeroplane.
Basically, I don't think it wise to adjust the value of miles/points from person to person, or level to level. It just complicates things unnecessarily.

No objections, your honour.
Award bookings at short notice/when no availability
I have said this before, implement system to book into revenue buckets for award bookings at short notice or when award seats unavailable. Maybe by charging double miles (for the premium of releasing a revenue seat and/or booking last minute). Or maybe, as others suggest, turning revenue classes into award classes, but this seems like it could get complicated and messy.
Nominal tier points for discount economy
At least for Golds... but I would do for all.
DYKWIA for life
Elite status for life scheme for truly the best customers. Like maintaining uninterrupted Gold status for 10-15 years or some such.
The stratosphere of Gold status
More rewards and incentives (real incentives, not pitiful upgrades) at the 3500+ tier points levels. Maybe even a possibility of extending premier status, but with no official or public policy. The whisperers...
Household accounts
The ability to gift miles to other people outside a household account.
Reign of terror
I would make myself a Blackcard Holder For Life and purge all other current premiers and replace them with people more to my tastes. I would tax the mileage accounts of all members to discourage gross hoarding of miles, as well as facilitating the distribution of undeserving gifts and freebies to my friends, large extended family and cronnies. I would also have the power to excommunicate and bar from membership those who offend me. When I am flying into London, all other aircraft would be required to divert to Manchester to ensure an on-time landing and no active runways. I would institute a guest list policy and suitably menacing-looking bouncer at the Concorde Room, both of which I would control.
I would also require that all EC employees go to South Africa to view proper customer service delivery standards. And maybe Bremen for its efficiency.
