I don't care what seatguru says, seats 31 d,e,f are not that much more comfortable. A tall guy wearing size 13+ will find them uncomfortable. Yes, I did sit there once. I wouldn't put my mom there if I had better choices.

Seats 31 c,g are good seats. As the bulkhead isn't as wide as this row of seats, there is a little legroom to stretch out in at a slight angle. The only warning is that babies are often put in middle row(Buy your mom some Bose QC2's ).

If you mom is the average height for a woman, seats 31 a,b,c,g,h,j should be good as far as comfort goes. Seats 31 b/h being the best of course.
