Just as we were to board, an announcement was made that eleven passengers would not be allowed on the plane because of weight restrictions. Many people were aghast. AA then proceeded to read off the names of the people who could not board. The rest of us boarded the plane only to sit at the gate for several minutes. All of a sudden, the eleven came on the plane, took their seats and we took off. Of course, no announcement was made to explain this bizarre turn of events.
I fly RJs from PHX to Fresno and from PHX to Bakersfield. On these short flights the service is acceptable if you gate check your larger carryon.
Yes, Because it not be allowed for the weight restrictions during the longer flight on CRJ-900. You have to checked the bags at the gate and they will put into the cargo hold when you were takeoff or landing at the final destinations cities.
