The old *G Lounge was a dung heap. Small room, small chairs crammed together. It was pure Y lounge treatment for those pax who dared to not spend for premium cabins.
Ah... I understand now. Actually, I find the airport in Singapore very plesant and rarely venture into the lounges. After hearing about the Premium lounge, I thought I'd check it out, and was pleasantly surprised. I guess the old version was rather less impressive.
