We do have to take some responsibility for our own lives afterall. Moreover, with the BTC selections, you can be assured that your main course will be shrimp free. If the starters contain shrimp, I am sure they would do what ever they could to accommodate you. As for the hotel issue, it seems that they gave you what you want, which is more than would be standard (in terms of a 12 noon check out). Heck, I have a hard time confirming late check out at any hotel, even with rack rates! The fact that the YVR office was so responsive to your requests, even though they did not have the answer you wanted straight away, has to be taken as a sign of a quality organization.
Sometimes when things like this get so blown out, it is hard to win the customer back. Unless you are willing to give them another chance, I imagine that you may never be satisfied. Your criticisms, from my perspective, would not seem to warrant choosing a different carrier.
Thanks
My request for a moslim meal without seafood...so basically if what thery got me is just seafood dish..I cannot choose from the menu simply coz nothing therre is Moslim..in one occasion the FA was so nice and got me a "vegi" dish from economy THOUGH she did not bother much putting it in a plate!
In the 2nd occasion..the starter had ground sort of shrimps mixed with vegetables "not easy to be seen" ..but I learnt the trick of smelling ( not sniffing

) the food..there I found out and asked them to take it away
The problem with the hotel sounded like I am asking them a favor! ( begging them in other words

) I would imagine what could happen if I was travelling economy on same flight
This does not mean I never had good things with SQ

1- on one of the flights, the power for laptop in my seat did not work...so the FA was so helpful and tried most of the other vacant seats..but none did work

well at least he tried to help
2- last time, Aug 2005, when they booked the hotel for my "forced transit" in SIN, the lady at the night stop desk was so nice and insisted that " I eat my DINNER at the hotel before I get to the airport since they all 3 meals are being offered for free"..she never said "this is a special arrangment or no way u will get this again"..i felt that was a nice tough from SQ (at that time

)
Not to missunderstand...I did not ask much! ONLY same standards as some first class carriers and SAME procedure always.. plus responding to my FEEDBACK ( at least i called it feedback NOT complaint).
Maybe wat am asking is too much
Ma
