fare classes...
hey everyone!
dont know if anyone can help with this question -
back in august i flew klm cdg-ams-jfk with return. on the nice little e-ticket pdf file they emailed me it said that i was booked into class H for outbound and class Q for return. then on my boarding passes they say class Y for cdg-ams legs and class M for ams-jfk legs.
what's up with all the different letters? are H and Q just for sales or something? or are they the exact equivalent of Y and M but they just like to put different letters on the e-tickets?
my AF ticket for december says L and V classes...can i expect them to remain the same or am i going to get stuck with totally different letters on my boarding pass which may lead to confusion for the total % of miles earned?
