Yes, there's an underground walkway between Garage 1 and the terminal. Like MileageAddict, I usually park in Garage 2 as I prefer walking outdoors (and can usually get a close-in parking space on the top, uncovered level). Garage 1 is closer to the UA ticket counter, however.
