They really are a useless bunch. A charge appeared on my Amex for Expedia Travel which did not correspond to any travel I did. I phoned them and they could not find any trace of it either on my account. They asked me for a copy of the Amex statement. I asked them whether I could e-mail it and they said yes. So, I scan and e-mail the statement with the bits which are none of their business blanked out, only to receive an e-mail back several hours later telling me that they are not equipped to read e-mail attachments and that I should fax instead. You would have thought that capacity to read attachment would be pretty normal for a company which trades mostly through the internet, but there you go. So I fax them, and receive an answer several day later telling me that they cannot find the charge on my account and to query the charge with Amex.
Thanks a bunch. Why do you tell me to send you the statement then? What time wasters
