I knew a guy who, three or four years ago, was going to set up a gay bar in Atlanta - about two months after leaving New York, he was back in New York. I didn't feel I needed to ask him why it didn't work out - I thought it was probably fairly obvious what his answer was going to be, and I didn't want to embarrass him as to his naivete.
