I've seen multiple postings commenting on the marked difference between the Changi SKL and the *G Premium Lounge. Granted, the SKL is far superior to the *G Premium Lounge. But it's not as if the *G Lounge is a dung heap. At meal times, there's hot food. Outside of that, there's sandwiches. There's a decently stocked bar. Free WIFI (though admittedly this is throughout the whole airport) and whilst not huge, it is not a closet either.
I feel very spoiled in the SKL - big aquariums, sleep quarters, massage chairs, nicer food etc. etc. But compare the *G lounge to other lounges in other airports and I feel it does okay.
And us economy class regulars can always see if we can find a generous Business Class or PPS pax to sneak us in
