Why would NWA be selling seats cheaper on a DL flight than on an NWA flight?
Sometimes it's the fare class available. The Delta flight may have a K seat left, while the NW may only have the V fare. I checked one day for your flights via KVS, (weekday travel), and NW was $39 cheaper than the lowest Delta fare.
If you want to give me actual dates, I can check a bit more.
The NW flight also shows up as a CRJ, which would not be *my* first choice.
