Maybe the TSA should send some of their people to check out how its done elsewhere. Be it Jordan, Israel, The UK etc where SECURITY is as important, and yet its not as nutty as it is over here. Or bring in some people attached to the Security from over there to check on what we are doing with our Circus over here.

I dont doubt that those who work for the TSA think that they are the front line against Terrorists, yet unless that Terrorist has a sign on him saying that they are one I highly doubt that they would be stopped, instead they probably will be given,a ' Thanks and have a nice flight' instead.

We are so far behind when it comes to stopping Terrorism it aint funny. I think its been more LUCK then anything else.

And to those Bleeding Heart Liberals yelling about your RIGHTS, well I hate to tell ya but the other 100+ Mil Americans also have rights. and to those who are so RIGHT Wing that you want to destroy anything LEFT WING, how the heck do you suggest that a Plane get in the air or land without a Left Wing.

Part of the prob is everyone isnt willing to consider anything that just might not fall into their Political wave of thought. A few weeks ago was Election day, I voted for all of the following Replublicans, Demorcrats, Conservatives, Yep Liberals too. I looked at the person and for what he /she was running for and chose whom I thought was the best person for the job REGARDLESS of their Politcal Party.

I feel bad for the OP but she should have viewed it not threw her eyes which are tainted against the TSA to begin with. From reading all these pages I feel she was on a crusade to get the TSA and I finally have the goods to do so. Yet I dont blame her what so ever for trying to make sure that what happened to her shouldnt ever happen again to anyone else Female or Male.

I usually do NOT take off my shoes(sneakers) and have gotten into heated discussions as Im NOT willing to allow my personal items that went thru the xray not be in my sight. My wallet , cell phone and important papers are usually apart of my carry-ons.I dont yell I simply dont budge, and Im told that the PA Police will be called, all I answer is PLEASE do so and tell them that you are refusing to follow the proper procedure and want to separate a passenger from his things. Usually a Supervisor appears and in 10 secs he tells the person that Im right and that I need to remain in eye-contact with my things.

Its a JOKE this isnt security. Thats the problem we are accepting this as SECURITY. Do I want to do away with it NO, its better then nothing but not by much. I understand that those working for TSA might be out of work otherwise, and they really do think that they are preventing more 9-11s. I for 1 really believe that if OBL wanted to try and do another 9-11 he probably will be able to UNFORTUNATELY. I still cant figure out how WE here in the US havent been hit with the kind of Train Bombings that both Spain & London has been. Or why Suicide Bombers havent simply walked into a 4 Seasons , MO, Hyatt etc and blow themselves up. More LUCK then anything else.

No the OP shouldnt have had to go thru that which she did.Ive had a wand touch me in my privates, to Me it wasnt a big deal as I knew that wasnt the intent of the Screener, cause he immediately apologized when he realized he got too close. We had a few jokes and he finished his job and I went on my way. Some people are more sensitive then others and in a perfect world there would be no need for a TSA or anything.

as for those who work for the TSA dont stand up on a soap box either, only recently here @EWR did a person get onto an AA plane without even a BP. Cant remember the last time at EWR at least that I wasnt asked for my BP by a TSA person after I went thru the metal detector. so that got by someone. Everyone blew that 1. The private screener before the TSA screening, The TSA who do check ALL BPs at EWR, and the GA.

May we ALL 1 day very soon beable to read this thread among others and have a Belly Laugh of how things used to be for they will no longer be needed.
