Also note that QF have codeshare agreement with AS, so you can book a QF flight number on an AS operated flight between such ports as LAX-YVR. In such a case you earn QF FF points and SCs if flying on the QF flight number, but not on the AS flight number. And you cannot redeem QF FF points for award flights on codeshare flights except for some specially-noted exceptions, and such exceptions do not include AS.
