Making my first MR of sorts this Friday. I'm trying to get to 100 EQS this year to reach 1K for the first time so I have tacked on a couple of segments on my usual LAS-DEN-MCI commute - I am going LAS-LAX-SFO-DEN-MCI. I have some float in my connection times and can get into MCI about 3 hours earlier than planned if I successfully standby on flights just before my ticketed flights.

However, I am concerned that Mr. Chicken (Online or Airport) will not give me boarding passes for all 4 segments when I check in at LAS. I am concerned because my interary on united. com looks a little like this:

----Las Vegas, Nevada to San Francisco, California ----
UA1481 LAS-LAX
UA1157 LAX-SFO
----San Francisco, California to Kansas City, Missouri ----
UA770 SFO-DEN
UA724 DEN-MCI

Does this mean when I check-in at LAS, I will get boarding passes for flights 1481 and 1157 only and then will need to check in again in SFO for the last two segments? If so, what's the best way to get checked in for a flight so I can then go standby on the earlier flight? Does SFO have Mr. Chickens airside?
