IIRC at AKL *G is same line as internet check-in, which is in between Raffles check-in and Economy. I doubt you'd have any problems if you used the Raffles check-in line. When I checked in the other day they had the 2nd bag screening machine in operation prior to check-in, with that one exclusively for premium & elite pax. Nice - every other time it has been just the one machine. Hopefully it wont be needed next year when the bag screening system upgrade is finished.
