I just signed up because Delta offered me 100 miles to do so, and membership was free. The ad said that I'd receive my 100 miles after I made my first transfer, but the miles posted to my account the same day I subscribed. I have yet to transfer any miles.

As far as the program goes, I was surprised that none of the hotel programs were listed. I was thinking about transferring Marriott Rewards points to my husband's Delta account to get him over the threshold for a first class seat to Hawaii, but points.com doesn't support hotel programs.

And when I clicked on the "transfer miles" link to determine the cost of transferring miles from my account to my husband's, it simply linked me back to the delta. com site.

I have no idea why Delta supports this site, but I got 100 miles out of it for free.
