I think this has changed this year because I have shared my VIPs with my HK friend for years and always before it was done with one phone call by me. Last week they told me I or my friend had to go to the airport to have the ticket re-issued. Not a problem this time because I am going there in a few days but I suppose it could be. Maybe it can be done at check-in?
