Flew to JNB in F last week and the champagne in the menu was Cazanove or Piper Rare but they were actually serving Heidsieck Monopole!

I have to say the recent comments on FT have left me expecting very little from BA's supposed premium cabin so I can't even say I was disappointed. The service was also very mixed - a lovely female attendant and a sour man who never smiled once and seemed to hate every minute he had to spend in the cabin. No sign of the CSD once during the flight. Oh well. When I last complained about these things I was pounced on and asked how often I fly FIRST. The answer is only ever on miles and Amex vouchers but I do fly paid J and I would no longer consider splurging to upgrade with cash (I'm even beginning to doubt the value of the miles transaction

). If it was a really special occasion now I think I would try another airline (and recommend others to do the same.)
