I agree; in fact, in my last email back to Carolyn T. I explained that I fully expect to have problems at the hotel, and wanted to know what they would do for me if/when that occurs.
I don't expect the hotel to honor the rate. On the other hand, I sort of *do* expect Travelocity to either find me a comparable hotel room at that rate (presumably with them making up the difference in cost), or refunding me for whatever this hotel charges me above the agreed-upon rate.
One thing's for sure, I won't be sending myself to PMV without having this all a little more ironed out.
However, I am definitely curious to find out if Seeksreal is able to enlist the help of someone at Travelocity, and if so, what the outcome is for him.
