More good news! Looks like despite the low rate, Travelocity is treating it as a "normal" situation not requiring them to change their policies, implement a special 800#, cancel "confirmed" reservations, etc. etc.

We have checked your reservation and you will be charged in VENEZUELA
BOLIVAR (Currency in VENEZUELA). When you covert the same in dollars at
this time it comes as $0.15. You will be charged by bank on the current
exchange rate at the time of the charge.
