It appears that the rate that was displayed was a published rate (i.e Rack rate, AAA rate, military rate )and not a merchant rate (internet rate). If I am not mistaking, these rates flow though to Travelocity directly from the hotel and has to be dealt with directly at the property level because they are not pre-paid through Travelocity.
