We are currently up for a 7 hour layover in HKG on the way to BKK from LHR (unless we can shift my other half to another flight as discussed in previous threads). I wonder if this is enough time to go into town and do some shopping (it will be Xmas Eve though and a Saturday so presumably shopping = insanity?).

Whilst I like the Wing F lounge, a bath and lunch will only take so long. I have been into the city several times and there is nowhere around the Central area that seems particularly worth a visit. We would like to pop over to Stanley Market, but this woud probably be a bit tight for timescales and also it could be very busy.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, the massage option certainly looks well worth exploring.
