is it true that AA sold all the AA branded silverware when they pulled it from the flights? i just figured the metal silverware sat in the same desert warehouse that all those - extra room in coach - seats sat in.

so - if they never sold the metal. how expensive would it be to bring it back? wouldn't it be cheaper to clean the metal vs. purchase the plastic for each flight?
