Do Doubletree Guest Suites usually NOT have microwaves?

I checked into a Doubletree Guest Suites last night (Tampa Rocky Point). In general I was not awed by the whole place but it seemed decent enough.

However, things changed when I went to heat up something. There was no microwave in the room. It had a sink and a fridge and coffee maker, but no microwave. And sure enough, I just looked on the website and nothing is listed about having a microwave.

To me, it is a given that an all suites hotel will have microwaves in the rooms (see Embassy Suites and Springhill Suites). Is it normal that a Doubletree Suites will not have them? This is my first Doubletree stay and if none of the suites have microwaves, it will be my last. Or did I just happen to find the one property out of 3 total that do not have 'waves?
