I was at Incheon (Seoul) visiting the Asiana lounge last weekend (en route to Beijing), and inquired as to the possibility of bringing two friends into the Buisness Class lounge instead of the (allowed) one guest (for Star Alliance Gold). The agent said it is possible to pay 30,000 won (about $30) for an extra person. I was glad to hear this, but also surprised. Is this the case for anybody to enter, or is it just a charge for the "extra" person (who is with a :-: Gold card holder)? Are most lounges like this? I didn't think to ask at the time, but now I've been thinking about it a lot. The Asiana lounge at Incheon is definitely worth $30 to access IMO. Just curious if anybody knew the details...
