Susiesan, since you mention opting for business seats to Australia, give Qantas a shot anyway. You are roughly 330 days out and might get it since you are just about early enough to do it.

Also, not sure if this is what you were asking, but you HAVE to get on the phone with AA in order to book these tickets. It cant be done on aa.com


In October, I went to book tickets for a range of dates from June 1 to Aug 1.

The EARLIEST date I got for F seats were for July 24. Then when I asked instead for J seats, the earliest I got was June 3.

Then I asked for tickets via TN and they got me golden seats at the best time jul 3 for 17 days with 2 days in Papeete.

The point is try QF for J. You really never know.
