BTW: Fares out of hub cities are usually much higher than out of non-hub cities.

Those "trapped" in "fortress hub" cities often pay much more for flights than those who live in non-hub cities with one or more low-fare carriers.

It cost more to fly to ATL, CLT or DFW from SDF than it does to fly to LAX or LAS.

So, I don't think those who live in hib cities are necessarily "lucky" either.
