Aha! I wondered if it was for crew only. I've seen other AC branded luggage that looked much less durable. I've also seen other TravelPro luggage that didn't look as nice as the AC stuff. I'm guessing they might have several lines at different price points.

I'm going to check out Costco to see what they have, but I'll also keep an eye out on EBay.
