The hard shell Samsonites are nice but a bit on the heavy side for my liking. I've had the crew-issue TravelPro for three years now and it's about ready to go to the big baggage carousel in the sky. It wasn't the best bag I've ever owned, but it has held up well.

My next rollaboard will be from this company. I had a chance to get my hands on the whole line at the crew store at DTW and they are incredible. All metal frames, tough rollerblade wheels and lots of compartments. The company is owned by a former pilot. I was going to get a Tumi for Xmas but that's out the window now.
