I'm only referring to the last minute deals sold by Travelocity. The terms&conditions say your flights will be eligible for frequent flyer credit with the exception of certain transatlantic flights on American Airlines

I have found this out the hard way when I picked AA for a trans-Atlantic trip a few months back. Since then, I have always picked other airlines when buying such tickets from Travelocity.

Why does AA feel the need to be singled out and passed over when people are picking flights?
