I have used both Avis and Hertz in France, but usually
Avis is less expensive on a corporate rate.
If you do not have a corporate rate to use, try airline rate,
AAA, or prepaid.
I have not rented a van but usually get a compact to mid-sized car for less than CAD $40/day or US $ 34.
