As of now they have not. No contact, not cancelled, and no coupon. Their reservation is in the middle of December so it should be apparent then. If nobody else has updated on this by then, I find out what happens and post an update. In all honesty I don't know what happened with their (and yours, and anyone else in a similar situation) reservation. I don't think it fell through the cracks as I doubt Expedia did everything manually, but rather had a computer generated list of all the reservations made during that time period and then went through them individually. This explains how those of us who were told to call wound up getting the coupon, in addition to the reservations being honored.
