This seems to reflect the fact that despite the outward similarity (or purely identical operations), Comair still is quite independent as a BA subsidiary. It also makes much more sense to me... upgrading the pax in the higher fare classes who are contributing more to that flights costs and profits (and great if they happen to be elites).
