I booked some tickets last night on travelocity, but apparently put the wrong months in. I had three windows open to various search sites and I guess when I hit back on one it reset the dates. I have no idea how I did not notice, probably the stupidest thing I have done in forever. Should never buy tickets at 3am after going out. But I did. Just realized it when I checked the confirmation email this morning.
I bought that $30 trip insurance. Has anyone ever used a doctors note to say they were sick to get their money back? I guess worst case scenario I'm out $100 fee, but that sucks, as I still need to get tickets for the real flight. I'm wondering what is required to prove that an illness is preventing my travel. I do have the flu and the mistake dates would have me leaving in a few days.
