I called UAL to request seat assignment on UA 1 ORD-HNL and UA 2 HNL-ORD. I found out that I was already assigned 25A which according to Seat Guru is in the Economy Plus section. I opted for seat 40G in the bulkhead because of the extra legroom. What makes 25A an economy Plus seat whereas row 27 and beyond are in the standard economy section, proximity to the front of the plane or are the seats different? Aren't I better off with more legroom than a window seat over the wing?
