I had this problem on Wednesday. When I went into the exec lounge there was no note on my American Airlines boarding pass that I was a BA Silver or SPharie, it did not have my BA number on it. So I gave the lady my Silver card, she swiped it then told me it was not working.
She then checked on her pc and asked some questions ...address etc and reissued me with a new boarding card.
Lets see if others have had problems with it as well.
