And don't trade your NW miles for KL points. The exchange rate is grim.

You will still be able to get NW credit for hotels, car hire etc.

Of course, this would mean starting afresh with KL, something you may or may not want to do.

If you can keep a US mailing address and stay with NW, that could be the better deal.
