I usually don't pay much attention to my account until I'm thinking about cashing in an award.

It came to my attention that whenever I fly AA, my miles are not posted to my account until 2 weeks after I have flown on the flight. This has been the case for the last 15 flights.(a mix of domestic and int'l flights) They are simply not posted anywhere, not online, or when I call AA and speak to a live person. In all cases, the miles all eventually get posted after the two weeks....

For comparison, when I fly on DL, my miles are always posted very quickly, sometimes even within a couple of hours of the flight. Like I said, I've never paid much attention to my AA acct, so I don't know if the 2-week delay is just the way AA handles it?
