A Twist on the Perfume Thread: Did a Hotel's Amenities Help 'Discover' your Favorite?

The favorite perfume thread got me to thinking... And hopefully, if this thread is read by Cosmetics Industry Execs, they will realize the value of placing their product as amenities in upscale hotels!

My whole Bulgari addiction got started on a Silversea cruise. Their amenities are all Bulgari eau tea vert and everytime I smell it, I am transported back to that romantic cruise on the Med.

Because I liked the eau tea vert so much, it encouraged me to try the bleu, which is now my favorite evening scent.

After spending the weekend at the RC San Francisco, I am now addicted to the eau tea blanc for fall/winter daytime.

Hundreds of dollars have now been spent on holiday & birthday presents of Bulgari fragrances, lotions, shampoos, conditioner, body washes, soap, etc. for me, all due to their brand's placement on Silversea & at the Ritz-Carlton. Smart marketing, indeed!

Anyone else have similiar stories?
