A certain company in Windhoek, Namibia: Everyone is at the office a 7 in the morning for coffee with the management. Everyone seems to work quite hard. By 5 in the afternoon they want to lock the office for the night. Oh, and they don't take kindly to suppliers asking them if they can open up the office at the weekend. They work to live and don't live to work.

Honestly, it was the last place on earth where I would have expected that kind of attitude the work (which is as Germanic as the excellent locally brewed beer).

Place I hated most? Mumbai where people worked late just to impress, even if they didn't have any pressing deadlines (even if they had nothing whatsoever to do).
