Chatted with the Tristar pilot upon arrival in ATL from HNL this week and learned that 767-400s will be in service on domestic long-haul routes, namely, ATL/HNL, by July, 2000, and maybe even earlier. The initial planes will have domestic F cabin, not BE, but when the Japanese economy rebounds "in coming years", some 764s w/ BE cabins will leave the mainland, stop in HNL, and continue on to NRT.
