This is very normal for the FS Chicago. The front desk used to give out cards at checkin on windy nights to warn guests ahead of time. Should have earplugs in the room too.
As iluv2fly mentioned, the building is designed to sway in the wind, causing the creeking noise. The lowest floor at FS Chicago is the 30th, so there's no avoiding it.
