Four Seasons Chicago on a windy night

I was at the Four Seasons in Chicago on Tuesday night, and it was windy (not that that's unusual in Chicago). All night the room was creaking so loudly that I had trouble sleeping, and I'm not a light sleeper. I'm not talking about wind howling outside the windows, or the windows rattling - the ceiling and walls were actually making a lot of noise. When I checked out, I asked if this was a function of the location of my room, or the floor (41) and was told "no" - this is normal when it's windy. I've stayed there before and never had this problem.

Has anyone else had this problem at this hotel, and in your experience is it related to the room location? Or are all of the rooms indeed noisy on a windy night?
