I went GB Airways LHR-GIB and back last week in club. Fantastic service both ways, choice of hot food, full bar etc etc. I agree, seemed better than the BA-operated product, although I have forgotten what cabin service is on BA LHR flights over the past few months. Only thing was they did not have the full range of duty free on board, which they said was because they were not BA-operated, also, still using plastic cutlery. I would definitely recommend them if my experience is typical. By the way, it was Piper Heidsieck for those who are interested.
